Pokémon 3D Version Indev 0.54.2

Jul 29, 2017 • Capt_Segis

Hello community,
We have decided it was time to release another minor update in order to fix several bugs that were still present in v0.54.1.
Some of these bugs had the chance to disrupt the player’s experience in a serious way and were worth a quick patch instead of waiting for the still upcoming next major release.
So here are the changes we made in this version:

Engine

  • Fixed fast graphics floor tiles inside the underwater cave.
  • Fixed all issues regarding the Backup Save Feature. Disabled it by default.
  • Hopefully fixed some performance issues regarding offset maps
  • Fixed Pain Split being considered an HM
  • Fixed Focus Blast accuracy and category
  • Fixed Autotomize name
  • Fixed EV gain algorithm
  • Fixed Sky Attack missing flinch chance
  • Fixed Power Swap wrong target
  • Fixed badge display in trainer card
  • Fixed Fake Out flinch conditions in PvE
  • Added support for .ogg music files
  • Added engine support for all remaining pokemon alternate forms
  • Fixed most interactions with King’s Rock in battle
  • Fixed Aegislash losing Stance Change permanently under certain conditions
  • Fixed serious performance issues on rendering models in the PC pokemon storage

Content

  • Fixed an exploit in the E4 maps that allowed the player to get by without battling
  • Fixed Old man script in Five Island
  • Adjusted the prices in the frontier shop
  • Fixed typo in the dialogue of some NPC in Six Island pokecenter
  • Fixed a typo in the kitchen script in the player’s house
  • Fixed Lilligant , Delphox and Greninja data files
  • Added several sprites mostly made and/or edited by OmegaGhost

We are currently looking forward on bringing up the next major release of the game very soon, which will feature bigger improvements and more storyline for you guys to enjoy (Maybe Mt. Silver?) so stay tuned :D

The Official Pokemon3D Server is back!

Jun 11, 2017 • Tornado9797

The official server has returned!

We, the P3D Team are proud to announce that our long gone Official P3D Server has just been brought back, for you guys to enjoy!

Now using a new server application (created and actively developed by our staff member Aragas), the server has increased performance, with most old bugs fixed compared to it’s state the last time it was online long ago. (namely the random player dropping and lag issues)

The Official P3D Server is included in the default server list for all P3D game releases so far, but just in the rare case you don’t have it, here is the server info:

Name: The Official Pokémon 3D Server
Address: karp.pokemon3d.net:15124

Feel free to ask any general questions and report any bugs you find regarding the official server in our official discord channel, which you can join by clicking the link below.

Pokémon3D Version 0.54.1

Feb 17, 2017 • Tornado9797

Pokémon 3D Indev 0.54.1 is now live!

The Spring Cleaning Update is here!

Although there isn’t anything new plot wise in this version, we took it upon ourselves to smash some of the long standing bugs with the game, alongside several other minor improvements for better gameplay.

You can get the latest version of the launcher from the main forum - just hit the big green download button and you’re all set!

Some of the more prominent changes include:

  • Add a temporary shop to the Battle Frontier.
  • Implemented a save corruption prevention feature.
  • Implemented the EV-enhancing items (you can get these from the new shop)
  • Implemented bubble weather in wild battles.
  • Tornado9797 can now be battled in Kolben Tower.
  • Pichu can now learn Volt Tackle as an Egg move, assuming all of the proper conditions are met.
  • Added “Drain Punch” TM.
  • Fixed a crash caused by interacting with the trainers on Memorial Pillar.
  • Fixed major slowdown in maps that used offset battle maps, such as Underwater Cave.
  • Added the ability to move in the Y axis in Sandbox Mode (you can do that by holding “Alt + Ctrl” while moving)
  • All party Pokémon can use all field moves in Sandbox Mode.
  • Changed the way hall of fame entries are stored (this will reduce the save file size dramatically).
  • The Hall of Fame screen will now only show up to 20 recent entries, plus the very first entry.
  • Some new GameMode features, including @music.forceplay, @Pokemon.AddSteps, @Pokemon.SetSteps, and more.
  • …and over 50 bug fixes!

You can find the full (highly detailed) change-log here.

Requirements:
OpenAL 1.1 Windows Installer.

As always, if you find a bug with the game, please report it here.

Thank you for being patient with us, the next update will hopefully be very story based!
